Man! Can he sing! I am not an american idol fan but i have been following this season because of him….

I’m a vocal teacher and when I heard him sing I just wish all my students would see him sing and get inspired. The best part is he has this glowing charasmatic character too. He smiles all the time and I tell you the girls sure dig him! Even I think he’s cute and I’ve never thought that way before.

So I googled him and guess what? We have some similarities. He’s a big fan of Les Miserables. My favourite musical of all time. In fact my favourite female singer of all time sang in that musical! Lea Salonga…..ring a bell? She sings the song you hear on Malaysian radio once and a while ‘We Could be in Love’.

Anyway for those of you who have never watched this musical (nice!) nor heard Lea Salonga (hot!) sing even David Archuleta (cute!), I recommend you check them out immediately

I’m so imspired to sing now. La la la. Come to think about it I’m going to go listen to the songs again now….

Love Lea Salonga too… try to hear or even watched the DVD version of Miss Saigon where Lea Salonga made her first appearance on the broadway stage. It made her won the Tony & Oscar awards… she’s the first ever asian who won broadway best stage actress. And after that all were history she made the Disneys Mulan, Pocahontas (Just around the riverbend movie version, Alladin (A whole New World-movie version). I love how she sang all those lines in Miss Saigon until she made her last song… full of feelings and heart warming, it made me even cried during the show… c”,)

Hi Star-Tariray!

You know what, I cried watching that too. I sang a few of those songs in college during our charity concerts. What memories they bring back.

All the songs you mentioned I have them too. Bought plenty of her albums too when I went to the Philippines. I love all her live albums! I even have a personal autographed Alladin VCD from her!!!! But I’ve never met her face to face. The autographed CD was given as a present by my student who knows her. It has my name!!! Haha

I pray and dream and wish sometimes I could sing with her one day.

Its so nice to meet a fan of Lea Salonga too. I hardly know of people here that are great fans. Not only that, also sharing those heartfelt moments! Cheers!
