Here I was thinking…..what in the world should I do on my off day, when someone asked me out for a movie. Wait! Hold back those reactions. It’s a guy. Wait!!!!! Hold back those reactions….we are both straight and he has a girlfriend. Hahahahhaaha

Oh well our target was to just see one movie. That was the plan. Then everything changed. When two people have apparently nothing to do….this is what happens.

*Phone rings*. Leon: Hello (manly sound), so how what do you think? 1030am the movie starts.

Anonymous (to protect the identity so that you all won’t harass him) : Ok la. How we going to get there?

Leon: Err……

We ended up meeting for breakfast at 9 am. Then headed to the¬† cineplex to get our tickets. Only to find out the show has changed its timing. So we decided ok we’ll watch two movies. Clone Wars and Wall-E. Then the good part was he was a UOB card holder making tickets cheaper and apparently also because it is a Monday we get one ticket free. Woooohooo.

That was a start of a spending spree by Mr. Leon Lim because at the back of the head, he was thinking…..we saved money today. So we had two hours before the movie started, we headed down to the guitar store to pickup some stuff I needed to take care of my baby. A humidity tester and polish. Just about a few days back they refused to give me a discount. But today I got to 30 percent discount. Wooohooo. Happily I spent.

Then we headed over to church to get some work then rushed back to see the movie. First up Clone Wars…..zzzzzzzzz not as much a kick as I had anticipated. Nice for Star Wars fans though.

Then during the 30 mins interval, I passed a shop that skins hand phones. Oh no! That’s what I have been looking for! After much hesitance I ended up spending to get my Omnia all wrapped up nicely because I’m rough as a buffalo and wanted to protect my poor phone from more physical harm. In the end, this is how my phone looks!

Let me recommend you, skin your phone. Don’t buy those cheap plastic armors or silicon protection. They make your phone look ugly and bulky. This either retains the beauty of the phone or enhances it. Plus is protects the phone from scratches, water and so on so forth. Yes it doesn’t protect from drops but you shouldn’t be dropping your phone in the first place hahaha. I had those plastic and silicon armors that didn’t really protect from my drops too. It lasts longer too as a protection. You can get this done in Low Yat plaza in Malaysia or Cathay Singapore. Waaa they should pay me for this.

Then came the pivotal moment. Wall-E. I was sooooooooooooo moved. I laughed like mad throughout the show but I had to control. The really odd thing is that Singaporeans don’t laugh out loud. They hardly react. What a waste. If we are happy we should just laugh it all out. Enjoy ourselves. So I had to control myself and laugh ‘a little more civilized’……sighz. Then there were moments tears almost spurted out of my eyeballs but I was already too afraid to express my emotion. So I held back those tears.

The movie was so well written, animated, and produced. The music was magnificent. The level of creativity was just extravagant.

I came out feeling sooooooo emotional. I had been going through some moments of grief and here it is, I was all feeling warm and fuzzy. Love is a beautiful feeling I forgot. I so want to be in love again. I never thought I’d be able to love again. But now I’m yearning for the ‘hand moment, yet again. Sighz. I just don’t know how to believe in myself. But my heart is burning. I want to be loved.

We headed to pick up my phone and back to my place where we listened to music and of course I let my friend play my lovely guitar. He is a better guitarist than me. He made the guitar sound so good. Sighz. He left later that night robbing me of some of my favorite CDs hahaha joking. We spent the day talking a lot, maybe I did most of the talking and I really enjoyed being able to talk to someone. It was such a good feeling.

All I could think in the end was, what an eventful day! I spent Almost 200 dollars! Sad but Happy
