People in the early church did it daily (Acts 2:46-47). There is a need to teach and preach about Eucharist because it's an important sacrament established by Jesus. If we need prayer & Bible reading daily, worship and sermon weekly, why not Eucharist daily or weekly? To me, there are only 3 things hindering this: 1) Tradition of doing Eucharist monthly 2) Speculation that Eucharist may loose its meaning if it's done too often 3) Cost, effort to prepare Eucharist & time spent on Sunday morning for Eucharist (especially for big churches) <strong>Leon said:</strong> Thanks Mike for your contribution. Yes, the routine observation of the ritual without understanding would be pointless.
