I realized I never really had a food post! Nothing about Singaporean food. Well, that is because I’m not a food person obviously. This time I have to. Not because I love the food. But because of the price of the food! I have been treated to two meals I could in a way never afford. And I think I should remember because in ringgit, it costs roughly RM 100 per person for each meal. Something I would never spend on.

Here I was looking at the menu and converting. My head was spinning at the price. Wow. I mean. How could I swallow such things. But a hungry man is an angry man. I was starving on both occasions. And I thank God both times I didn’t have to order or guilt will fill me heart.

First meal was at the Hyatt Hotel. When we arrived they served us bread and as you can see below…..I was indeed hungry

We were then served with dishes I have mostly never eaten before. I don’t even know their names haha. Don’t they look good?

The very next day, we ate at Jurong Hilltop. I didn’t take much pictures because I was focused on eating so much. We had teppanyaki, the most expensive one I have ever had. Still I must say it was really really tasty. I only knew the price after we ate. I was shocked! This is how the place looked like :

My recommendation is that if you have a lot of money and would like to celebrate occasions, these are nice places to be. Still be prepared to put a hole in your pocket when you go there.
