Just a little request

Dear readers,

I’m pleased to announce to you that this blog has reached it’s half a year mark! Wooohoo. I can’t believe it has been that long. Over this period of time I’m glad to say that I’m so happy that you all have been there to read, support and encourage me to write more and more. Though the opposite seems to be happening hahaha

So here I am ready to give you some statistics about this blog:

Firstly, over this 6 months, I have had 25,761 visits to this blog (as of the time I wrote this blog)! Wooohoo isn’t that great. Averagely there are 222 visits a day. Pretty amazing. Now this doesn’t mean you should visit this blog less ok?…..visit it more hehehe

As of this month I have 15.7 percent of my readers from my homeland Malaysia!!! 13.41percent from the Netherlands. 7.94 percent from US commercial, 7.63 from Singapore and the rest from many other countries.

I have written 105 posts. With contributions as well.  Wow I can’t believe I wrote so much. I have also received a total of 774 comments. Thank you all again!

This has been above and beyond what I imagined blogging to be like. I did this to begin with just wanting to stay in touch with the people I care about. And here I am at this point. I also know that these statistics are nothing compared to other websites but I am so glad and encouraged that people would find something they can relate to in my blog.

There is just a little request though. I just saw my spam statistics and currently there are a total of 764 spam comments. I was like….whoa how can the spam be so close to the real comments. It has recently rapidly rose in quantity and the comments on my blog has rapidly declined also hahaha. So can you readers give feedback on what I can do to help you comment more? Also can you all just comment more. I would love to always be able to say that my blog has more comments that spam. Haha.

I just thought I’d share these statistics to you guys to really thank the people who visit this blog regularly. when I read them I was really encouraged. I hope to do better and better so please give me your input. Still I can only do what’s within my power and energy and time to encourage you too.

I am curious though….why do you all read this blog? Can share please?

p.s - I have been reading many of your blogs too. Enjoy them very much. Just didn’t have the time to comment. Soon, very soon I will be able to do that again. Cheers!

Update: The spam box has just beaten the comments box. 777-776. Very sad. very sad

Haha, i read this blog because ur my friend?? But sometimes it really is fun to read the writings of people you know. Its not all the time i get to see and feel the writings of friends. It helps me in “trying” to get to know someone better because words are fun to look at. And i’m relatively slow when it comes to relating with humans, so i find it easier by reading blogs. Blogs reveal so much about a person compared to what they are on the outside. Be it good or bad it is always fun and this fascinates me……. So much for not writing a spam comment, i think i wrote a long comment…. You should have a record holder for who writes the longest comment.

Spam comments will keep increasing… you can ignore the numbers :)

As for increasing comments, I find it helps if you ask questions or invite reader participation in your post.

You can also get them to read my post about daring to start posting comments

One more thing… with your traffic you can consider advertising… check out NuffNang (you can choose Malaysia or Singapore)

Yay for you! Err, well, I could…*COULD* say all the wonderful things about why I read your blog, but I won’t! Muahahaha… Hmmm, to me each blog is unique not because of the things they write, but because of the people who wrote it in the first place which make the content interesting in the first place…

I read this blog coz its fun, and also educational, like when you blog about tech stuff, or on the Word , or even see how you rate a CD , so its nice to learn new stuff …and well I guess you right well enough to keep me interested eh ? So good la…keep it up:-)

Nonsense everybody assumes I hear it from everyone. I think leh people are too stingy. Whats wrong with giving more. So sad everybody assumes I hear it from everyone. How come? This must be the reason why my self-esteem is so low :)

to keep an update on your life, to hear your honest views on things and can actually know a person more through his/her writing and the stuff he/she writes…

i think you’re creative in the stuff you write and honest with your feelings and views. so.. well done and keep going =) enough elaboration right haha.

Wah…. you trying to boast about your blog of what? You have thank all of your fans (i.e. all of us) for making your blog so successful by just clicking on it and reading your long winded notes

You know until now I’m never the boasting type. I am showing everyone that they play a huge part in my blog and I did thank everyone. Your sacarsm amazes me. Its like you are saying it is such a torture to read. Cannot just be happy together wan you. I hope Miracle won’t be like that. :P

well…reading your blog is like discovering the uniqueness in you as a person…your passion abt God, music, tech etc…always interesting, seeing your point of view.
