I am waking up early in the morning with thoughts in the back of my head. I need to get two things done today. Finish up the wedding song and the next was to try to figure out why I am getting less and less comments on my blog. So I struggled on my bed for an hour (the privilege of being a bummer) then finally got to my senses to reply Adino’s reply to me on msn. Little did I know that in the next few moments I would be cut off from the world of the internet!!!
Blackout!!! I was just talking to Dr. Roli (who is here visiting Malaysia teaching a course on Pauline Theology) on Sunday about how we seldom get brownouts or blackouts here and to my amazement it happens!
So I became a practically useless human being because everything I use runs on this thing called electricity. There is no way I can do my song nor check my blog so I had nothing to do. Actually I’ve been ignoring my house duties, so here I go. Spend all morning getting the place all spick and span still the electricity evades my house entirely. I’m sweating profusely because of the heat (unbearable nowadays) but everything looks good! Muahaha. Even my bike looks shiny now. So I decided to have my first meal of the day outside so that I can cool down but that didn’t help as I can’t seem to stop sweating.
At 2 something finally it all returned! My air-con is switched on immediately but I’m still sweating!!! Checked my blog again and to my dismay, 1 comment. Sigh. I’ve been really trying harder to write but it seems my writing must be real boring to my poor readers
Little did I realised as I was lost in my digital world that it was already 5pm! Time to pick up my friend, we are going to swim! So I geared up on my cool bike and zoom I’m following my GPS to a part of Malaysia I have never been to. Reached there in 40 mins again full of sweat. Maybe I’m nervous because its the first time I’m hanging out with this girl. Hahaha
So I picked her up followed my GPS which took me on a different route that only took me 20 mins to reach home. Ridiculous technology! There we met up with another friend, ate our dinner, picked my mom up and there, right before my very eyes lay a beautiful sight! The Pool!
So I swam with all my heart. Splishing and splashing. Feeling like a kid all again. In the end, I’m sweating profusely again. But oh well it was so worth it because there was nothing a cup of ice blended juice at Starbucks wouldn’t repair. Haha.
I ended my day sweating though, as I was watching Barcelona vs. MU. So sad So sad. But Lionel Messi, what can I say. Magic!
